I wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ to you and your team for creating such a beautiful space for us. The marquee looked stunning, I loved the way you incorporated elements of the garden & plants into it and framed it all with really effective lighting. The space flowed brilliantly and felt seamlessly joined to the building – some people didn’t realise at first it was a marquee and not another room (that may have been helped by the free booze though!!).
You and your team have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish; professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. So nice to work with people who know what they’re doing!!
We all had such a great evening and the beautiful disco room was a huge part of that so massive thanks from all of us.

I just wanted to thank you and all of your team of helpers so much for putting up and taking down of the wonderful marquee. For a second year running the ‘boys’ have been so polite and efficient and made it all look so easy. They were never in our way and just got on with what needed to be done, all in all we were so impressed. The garden was left looking just as good as when they arrived, no tyre marks, damage to grass, left over debris, nails etc.
The wedding was an amazing day and everyone had a fantastic time. I’m just hoping our third daughter gives us at least a year off before she announces anything! Very happy to act as a reference should you ever need one.

What a wonderful weekend we had for the wedding, it already seems like ages ago!
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much, you will never know how much I appreciated all the help you gave me, the marquee was wonderful, the pink sash and when the tables were made up really complimented each other and made the marquee look super, the dance area was great with the twinkly lights at night, everybody commented how nice it was to have the dance area separated from the reception area.
It was lovely to be able to open up the marquee day and night, the day went so quickly and in no time at all it was 1.30am in the morning!

Wedding – 2nd September 2017 – West Dean Gardens, Hampshire
We used Southern Marquees for a joint 60th and 21st – They provided the most amazing marquee, lighting, tables, chairs and decoration which all come together and looked wonderful!! And when the weather came into play they were quick to provide us with a second tent which saved the party.
Mandy and Hugh were so helpful, they pointed us in the direction of catering companies – we went for Forking-out caterers (Salisbury), which we couldn’t recommend enough. On top of this they recommended an extremely good dj, Toby Oakley (New Forest) who provided an amazing evening of music and entertainment.
Mandy, Hugh, Mark and their team were so lovely and friendly. They were quick to answer any questions we had and helped up with any problems! Making the party planning stress free and thorough. In all we had an amazing evening!

Duncan and I were married at Bossington House on Saturday 6th August. We had the most perfect day and a huge part of that was down to the time, energy and attention that we received from both Mandy and Hugh at Southern Marquees throughout the whole build up to the wedding. For me personally, they were true gems, always on hand to answer questions, offer advice, and not only about the marquee, but with all areas of the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble, even inviting my Mum and I for tea. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with during what was sometimes a stressful time, and I literally cannot recommend their products and service highly enough. Well Kit and Alex’s wedding is over and I just wanted to thank you and your team so much for providing such a fantastic marquee at Hill Place – it really did exceed all our expectations. From the start, when we met you at your home to discuss the wedding, you have been so helpful and supportive and your suggestions were always welcome. It was great for us to see the marquee taking shape and then when it was fully set up with tables, flowers etc. it looked just beautiful. I had a marquee at my wedding 35 years ago and whilst they have obviously changed a great deal since then there is something rather special about having a marquee wedding as opposed to a rather bland hotel reception. Just a note to say thank you so much to you and all your team for making Saturday and Sunday such special days – everything went beautifully thanks to all your preparation and knowledge and the Marquee was beautiful.
We would highly recommend you without hesitation to anyone needing a marquee.

Portchester – August 2016
Duncan and I were married at Bossington House on Saturday 6th August. We had the most perfect day and a huge part of that was down to the time, energy and attention that we received from both Mandy and Hugh at Southern Marquees throughout the whole build up to the wedding. For me personally, they were true gems, always on hand to answer questions, offer advice, and not only about the marquee, but with all areas of the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble, even inviting my Mum and I for tea. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with during what was sometimes a stressful time, and I literally cannot recommend their products and service highly enough. I will talk about Southern Marquees far and wide, and send heart felt thanks to Mandy, Hugh and all their team.

We approached Southern Marquees firstly for our Golden Wedding celebrations and more recently for a family wedding reception.
From the outset they produced plans and suggestions and then put it all into practice exactly as we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and continued liaison with the caterers resulted in a smoothly run and faultless occasion.
It was fascinating to see the speed with which the marquees were assembled by a team of young men and when they were later removed and packed away the garden looked quite bereft without them.
I cannot recommend Southern Marquees, with Hugh and Mandy and their team highly enough. Their professionalism, hard work and cheerfulness ensured we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves without a care in the world!
